Children’s Day is
celebrated on the 14th of November every year. It is celebrated on
this day because it is the birthday of our first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal
Nehru. He loved children very much, which is why Children’s Day is celebrated
on this day. Often, on this day, there are a lot of programs in school for
children to enjoy. Teachers present various programs to entertain their
students. Most schools allow children to come in color dress on that day. The
television and radio also air special programs for children. Many children’s
film festivals are also organized for the merriment of the children. The
Children’s Day celebrated on November 14 is unique to India. It is celebrated
