1.Ca(OH)2
2.Ca(OH)2+CO2= CaCO3 ( white)
3.by adding water to quick lime(CaO) we get slake lime..add morewater and get it in aqueous state....it is limewater
4.CaHCO3 will be formed which is colourless....

1)Ca(OH)2
2)Air has CO2 when it passes through lime water because of the formation of insoluble precipitate CaCO3( white ppt.)
Ca(OH)2 + CO2→ CaCO3↓ + H2O
(White ppt.)
3) By adding Cao in water.
Cao(s) + H2O(l) → Ca(OH)2(aq) + ∆
4) when excess of CO2 is passed through lime water it does not remain milky anymore due to the formation of calcium Hydrogen carbonate which is soluble in water.
CaCO3 + H2O + CO2 → Ca(HCO3)2
