Using v² - u² = 2as

let say initial Velocity = v

after x distance it become 3v/4

=> (3v/4)² - v² = 2ax

=> 9v² - 16v² = 32ax

=> a = -7v²/32x

Further Distance y is covered before rest

=> 0² - (3v/4)²  = 2ay

=> -9v²/16 = 2(-7v²/32x) y

=> y = 9x/7
