GIVEN :-

  • marked price of article = 23,600 rs
  • discount given after 18% gst = 10%

TO FIND :-

  • selling price of article

SOLUTION :-

AS WE KNOW THAT ,

we have to include 18% gst on article hence ,

 \implies \rm{23600 = 100\%}

\implies \rm{1\% =  \dfrac{23600}{100} }

\implies \rm{18\% =  \dfrac{23600}{100} \times 18 }

\implies \rm{18\% =  236 \times 18 }

\implies \rm{ \bf18\% =4248 }

so total price of article after 18% gst is

\implies \rm{23600 + 4248}

\implies \rm{ \bf27848 \: rs}

now 10% discount on it

\implies \rm{100\% \:  =  27848}

\implies \rm{1\% \:  =   \dfrac{27848}{100} }

\implies \rm{10\% \:  =   \dfrac{27848}{100}  \times 10}

\implies \rm{10\% \:  =   \dfrac{27848}{10} }

\implies \rm{ \bf \: 10\% \:  =   2784.8 \: rs }

now we know formula for selling price

\implies \boxed{ \rm{selling \: price=  marked \: price \:  - discount}}

hence ,

\implies \rm{selling \: price\:  =   27848 - 2784.8 }

\implies  \boxed{ \boxed{\rm{selling \: price\:  =   25063.2 \: rs}}}
