Numbers on the cards are 1,2,3,.....15.
Total number of possible outcomes n(S) = 15.
(i) Prime number
Let A be the event of drawing a prime number.
n(A) = {2,3,5,7,11,13}
= 6.
Therefore,
Required probability P(A) = n(A)/n(S) = (6/15) = (2/5).
Hope it helps!
