Answer :

Total number of cards = 15

i). Numbers which are even from 1 to 15 : 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14

Total number of cards that are even = 7

The probability of drawing a card that is even :

⇒ P(even) = 7/15

ii). Numbers which are divisible by 2 or 3 are : 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14 and 15

Total number of cards that are divisible by 2 or 3 = 10

The probability of drawing a card that is divisible by 2 or 3 :

P(Divisible by 2 or 3) = 10/15

                                     = 2/3
