It is given that the diameter of the cylindrical pillar is 42 cm so, we have to convert it into metre so, it will become 0.42 m, now we find the radius.
So, 0.42÷2= 0.21 m.
And we know that height = 5m.
Now, by putting the formula of the cylinder :- 2×22÷7×0.21×5 m square.
=> 6.6 m square
Then for 15 pillars:- 15×6.6= 99 m square
So, the cost of the pillar will be,,,,
10×99= Rs 990 -ans.
