Answer:

Number of defective bulbs = 15

Total of bulbs = 150

Number of good bulbs = 150 - 15

Good bulbs = 135

( i ) probability of taking a good bulb = 135/150

=> 9/10

( ii ) probability of taking a defective bulb = 15/150

=> 1/10

hope it helps you

First

Probability

= Number of favourable outcomes / Total number of outcomes

= 150/165

= 10/11

Hence, probability of getting a good bulb is 10/11.

Second

Probability

= Number of favourable outcomes / Total number of outcomes

= 15/165

= 1/11

Hence, probability of getting a defective bulb is 1/11.
