Answer:

Let us take a battery and bulb and form a circuit. When the switch is on then the bulb glows showing the passage of current but when a piece of thermoplastic is joined in the circuit the bulb does not glow. This shows that the thermoplastic is a poor conductor of electricity.

➡ Using the other wire, connect the other end of the battery to the bulb. Result- We'll see that the bulb WILL NOT glow which concludes that the thermoplastic is a poor conductor of electricity since the current does not flows through it.
