Equivalent Resistance.

So the equivalent resistance, in this case, will be

1st

We can see that 6 ohms and 6 ohms are in parallel.

So, 1/6+1/6=1/3

So, the parallel resistance is 3 ohm.

2nd

Now, we can see that 3 ohms and 6 ohms are in series.

So,

3 ohm+ 6ohm = 9 ohm.
