Answer:

The number is 36

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

Units digit = 2x

Tens digit = x

Orignal Number :

⇒ 10x + 2x

12x

Digits are reversed:

⇒ 10 (2x) + x

⇒ 10 × 2x + x

⇒ 20x + x

21x

According to the question :

If 27 is added to it, the digits are reversed

⇒ 12x + 27 = 21x

⇒ 27 = 21x - 12x

⇒ 27 = 9x

⇒ 9x = 27

⇒ x = 27 / 9

x = 3

Value of 2x :

⇒ 2 (3)

⇒ 2 × 3

6

Hence,

Units digit = 6

Tens digit = 3

Therefore,

The number is 36
