Weight of one iron ball =10050/15

=670

No. Of balls *670 =4690

No. Of balls =7

ramalakshmi1998: I said 10 kg 50 g not 1 kg 50 g you have to convert 10 kg into g and then do the sum
adityaparate13: 10050/15=670
adityaparate13: No of balls = 670/67=10
ramalakshmi1998: Why 670 by 67

The number of balls which will weigh 4 kg 690 g is 7.

Given, that the weight of 15 iron balls is 10kg 50g.

To represent this weight in gms, we know 1 kg = 1000gm, so:

10kg 50 gm = (10×1000)+50 = 10000+50 = 10050gm.

And, 4kg 690gm = (4×1000)+690 = 4690 gm.

So, 10050gm is the weight of 15 balls,

By unitary method, 1 gm is the weight of (15÷10050) balls.

Thus, 4690 gm(4kg 690gm) will be the weight of (15÷10050 × 4690) balls

= 7 balls.

So, 7 balls weigh 4kg 690gm.
