€I Hope this can help you.

Let the no. of 5 rupee coin be x

Therefore,2 rupee coin will be 4x

®By the problem:-

2×4x+5×x=117

8x+5x=117

13x=117

x=117÷13

x=9

5 rupees coins =9

Answer:

Rupee 5 coins = 6

Rupee 2 coins = 36

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the no. of coins of Rupee 5 coin be = x

No. of coins of Rupees 2 = 4x

Total money = ₹117

Now

Total money be rupee 5 coins = ₹5x

Total money by rupee 2 coins = ₹8x

No. of coins of each domination

= 5x + 8x = 117

= 13x = 117

= x = 117 ÷ 13

= x = 9

No. of coins of Rupee 5 = 9

No. of coins of Rupee 2 = ₹5x × 4 = 9 × 4 = 36

  • Therefore, there are 9 coins of Rupee 5 and 36 coins of Rupee 2.
