GIVEN :-

Total number of roses =  \sf \red{6 \: Dozen}

We know that,

 \sf \fbox{1 \: Dozen = 12 \: units}

So, the total number of roses

 \sf {→6 \: Dozen = 6 \times 12}

 \sf {→72 \: roses}

Now, According to question,

  • 15% of 6 dozen

 \sf{→ \frac{15}{100} \times 72}

 \sf{→ \frac{3}{20} \times 72}

 \sf{→ \frac{3}{10} \times 36}

 \sf{→ \frac{3}{5} \times 18}

 \sf{→ 0.6\times 18}

 \sf{→10.8}

 \sf \green{ \therefore \: 11 \: roses \: [Approx]}

Hence, number of roses survived is,

 \sf \small \fbox{Number \: of \: roses - Number \: of \: roses \: survived}

 \sf{→72 - 11}

 \sf \fbox{→61 \: roses}

∴ Hence 61 roses survived the heat.
