so, female workers = x * (15/100)

➡ 15x/100 = 3x/20

Male workers = 272

➡ x - (3x/2) = 272

➡ 17x/20 = 272

➡ 17x = 272 * 20

➡ x = ( 272 * 20 )/17

➡ x = 320.
