15. Prove that x = 1, y = 1 as well as x=2, y = 5 is a solution of 4x - y - 3 = 0.​

For x = 1, y = 1

4×1-1-3

= 3-3

=0

For x=2, y = 5

4×2-5-3

=8-5-3

first putting the value of x and y in given equation

  • When x=1 and y=1
  • 4 × 1 - 1 - 3 = 4 - 4 =0........equ.1
  • now , when x=2 and y=5
  • 4 × 2 - 5 -3 = 8 - 8 = 0.....equ.2
