Answer:

Since 480= 24% of the total marks (x),

24x/100 = 480. x =2000. 76/100 * 2000= 1520 marks.

Given:-

  • Percentage of maximum marks Raja got = 76%
  • Marks Seema got = 480
  • Maximum marks = (Marks obtained by Raja) + (Marks obtained by Seema)

To find:-

  • Marks Raja got

Answer:-

Let the maximum marks in the test be x.

♦️Then, marks Raja got = 76% of x

→ Marks Raja got = 76/100 * x

→ Marks Raja got = 19/25 * x

♦️ Marks Seema got = 480

♦️ Marks Raja got + Marks Seema got = (19/25)x + 480

And it is given that, Marks Raja got + Marks Seema got = Maximum marks = x

So,

(19/25)x + 480 = x

→ 480 = x - (19/25)x

→ 480 = (25 - 19)/25 * x

→ 480 = (6/25)x

→ x = (480 * 25)/6

→ x = 80 * 25

→ x = 2000 = Maximum marks

♦️ Marks Raja got = 76% of x

→ Marks Raja got = 76/100 * 2000

Marks Raja got = 1520 Ans
