Answer:

We know that the box to be built in the scouting project will be in the shape of the cuboid.

Therefore, the formula for calculating the volume of a cuboid is given as:

Volume = length × width × height

Now, we will substitute the given values in the formula to get the value of the height of the box

36 = 6 × 2 × height

⇒ 36 = 12 × height

⇒ height =

⇒ height = 3 cm

Thus, the height of the box to be built in the scouting project will be 3 cm.

Given, The volume of box to be build in project = 36 cm³

The Length of base of box = 6 cm

The Width of base of the box = 2 cm

Solution:-

We know that the box to be built in the scouting project will be in the shape of the cuboid.

Also, we know that the formula for calculating the volume of a cuboid is given as:

Volume = length × width × height

36 = 6 × 2 × Height

=> 36 = 12 × Height

=> Height =  \frac{36}{12}

=> Height = 3 cm.

Hence, The Height of the box to be build in the scouting project will be 3 cm.
