15) State and velocity law of conservation of momentum. A body of mass 10 kg and moving with a speed
of 5ms towards right collides with a body of mass 5 kg and moving with a speed of 10 ms towards
left. Find the final velocity of the bodies if they stick together

mass of body1 = 10 kg

velocity of body1 = 5 m/s

mass of body2 = 5 kg

velocity of body2 = 10 m/s

body 1 = body 2

10 × 5 = 5 × 10

50 = 50

∴ there won't be any change in the conservation of momentum.

and, there are balanced forces so there won't be any movement and the final velocity if they stick together will be 0 m/s
