Solution :-

Let the ages of Kala and Mala be 2x and 3x respectively.

As per question :-

Given that,

Sum of their ages 60.

Therefore,

⟶2x + 3x = 60

⟶ 5x = 60

$⟶x = 12$

Hence,

Age of Kala is = 2x = 2 × 12 = 24 years

Age of Mala is = 3x = 3 × 12 = 36 years
