15. The area of a rectangular field is 456m2 and its length is 24m find the breadth and
perimeter of the field.

We have to find:

Breadth and perimeter of this rectangular field.

Now:

Area of rectangle= (l×b)=456m²

=>(24×b)m=456m² (Length=24m)

=>b=456m²/24m

=>b=19m

So we have breadth (b)=19m and we have given 24m as length (l)

As we known perimeter of rectangle= 2×[l+b]

Therefore perimeter of this rectangular field:

=2×[l+b]

=2×[24+19]m

=(2×43)m

=86m

Hence the breadth and perimeter are 19m and 86m respectively.
