Answer:

15)

Let the digits of the number be x and y such that the 2 digit number = 10x+y

Given, x-y (or) y-x=2

and x:y=3:2-

From relation2, we can say that x is greater than y, so we will by using x-y=2

So we have:

x-y=2 => y=x-2

x/y=3/2 => y = 2x/3

=> 2x/3 = x-2

=> x - 2x/3 = 2

=> x/3 = 2

=> x = 6

So y = x-2 = 4

So the number is 64

16) Given =>

3l = 5b

and l+b=32cm

=> l = 5b/3

=> 5b/3 + b = 32

=> 8b/3 = 32

=> b = 32*3/8 = 12

=> l = 5*12/3 = 20

=> Length = 20cm, breadth = 12cm
