GIVEN :

  • The total numbers of carpet lying on the floor in the Hall = 26 Carpets .
  • Let us consider here , Length = 4 m and Breadth = 2.5 m

TO FIND :

  • The area of the floor of the hall = ?

STEP - BY - STEP EXPLAINATION :

⇒Length of the carpet = 4 m

⇒Breadth of the carpet = 2.5 m

Now, first let us find the area of each carpet

   AREA OF EACH CARPET ⇒ 4 × 2.5

                                               ⇒  10 sq. m

Therefore, the area of 26 Carpets = ?

   Now,

    AREA OF 26 CARPETS     ⇒    10 × 26

                                                 ⇒     260 sq. m

Hence, the Area of the floor of the hall  = 260 sq. m
