Speed / Velocity  is changing contentiously

from Point A to B  acceleration = (24 - 0)/(3-0) = 8 m/s²

from Point B to D  acceleration = (0 - 24)/(6-3) = -8 m/s²

the acceleration of the car between C and  D

=  (0 - 16)/(6-4)

= -16/2

= -8 m/s²
