15) The present ages of Dishan and Ishika are in the ratio 6: 5. Four years ago, the ratio of their ages was 4:3. Find their present ages.

6x - 4 4

5x - 4 3

3(6x-4) = 4(5x-4)

18x- 12 = 20x - 16

-12+16 = 20x - 18x

4 = 2x

x = 2

present age,

dishan = 6x = 6(2) = 12 years

Ishika = 5x = 5(2) = 10 years
