Answer:

e) none of these

The sum of three numbers is 68 if the ratio between the first and second is 2:3 and between the second and third is 5:3. What is the second number?

Your newborn may be vulnerable to these 6 serious diseases.

Let 3 no.s be a,b and c.

Now it is given that

a+b+c=68. -1

Now it is given that ratio of first and second no. Is 2/3.

Therefore a/b =2/3

Therefore a = 2b/3

Also it is given that ratio of 2nd and 3rd term is5/3

Therefore b/c = 5/3

Therefore c = 3b/5

Now putting values of a and c in equation 1

Therefore 2b/3 +b + 3b/5= 68

Therefore taking lcm

Therefore 10b +15b + 9b = 1020

Therefore 34b = 1020

Therefore b = 30.
