Solution:

Given => 31K2 is divisible by 6

Divisibility of 6 => It says that a number is divisible by 6 if it is divisible by both 2 and 3.

Divisibility of 2 => It says that a number is divisible by 2 if last digit of the number is 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 or we can say it should be an even number.

In the number 31K2 last digit is 2 i.e. even number which means 31K2 will be divisible by 2.

Divisibility of 3 => It says that a number is divisible by 3 if sum of digits of the number is divisible by 3.

In the number 31K2 add the digits,

3 + 1 + K + 2

6 + K

Now, K should be that number which on addition with 6 is divisible by 3.

If K = 1 then,

6 + 1 = 7 which is not divisible by 3

If K = 2 then,

6 + 2 = 8 which is not divisible by 3

If K = 7 then,

6 + 7 = 13 which is not divisible by 3

If K = 3 then,

6 + 3 = 9 which is divisible by 3

The number will be 3132 which will be divisible by both 2 and 3 and also will be divisible by 6.
