Bholi is the story of Sulekha. As she was seventh and ugly child of Numberdar Ramlal she was neglected by all. Once the tahsildar came and inaugurate a primary school in the village and asked Ramlal to send his daughters to the school. As Bholi was ugly and it would be difficult to get her married, so her parents decided to send only Bholi to school. Bholi was initially afraid of going to school, but due the encouragement of her teacher, she continued her studies. After some years Bholi received a marriage offer from a widower. At the time of wedding, he saw Bholi's pock marks and demanded ₹5000 as dowry. Ramlal gave the amount to the bridegroom. But Bholi refused to marry this greedy widower. She said that she would take care of her patents and will teach in the same school where she got her education.
