15 workers can do in 14 days .

then workers needed to finish work in 6 days.

let no. of workers be x.

15/14 = x/6

15 * 6/14 = x

shrutimistry13: it is indirect proportion 15*6/14 =45/7
sonu5128: The ans is 35

We can solve this question by the method of Ratio and Proportion.

No. Of workers : No. Of days :: No. Of workers : No. Of days

 \implies \sf \: 15 \: \colon \: 14 \: \colon \: x \: \colon \: 6 \\ \\ \implies \sf \: 14x = 15 \times 6 \\ \\ \implies \sf \: x = \dfrac{15 \times 6}{14} \\ \\ \implies \sf \: x = \frac{15 \times 3}{7} \\ \\ \implies \sf \: x = 6.42 \: which \: we \: can \: round \\ \sf off\: to \: 6.
