15(x - 9) - 2(x - 12) + 5(x + 6) = 0

=> 15x - 135 - 2x + 24 + 5x + 30 = 0

=> 15x + 5x - 2x - 135 + 24 + 30 = 0

=> 18x - 81 = 0

=> 18x = 81

=> x = 81/18

=> x = 27/6

Given,

15(x-9) - 2(x-12) + 5(x+6) = 0

-» 15x - 135 - 2x + 24 + 5x + 30 = 0

-» 18x - 81 = 0

-» 18x = 81

{x = \dfrac{81}{18}} (cancelling in tables of 9)

{x = \dfrac{9}{2}} or x = 4.5
