My pet name is jack. Jack is so cute. Jack takes rice, biscuits and other food items. He loves me and is very obedient. Jack guards our house at night. When I come back from school, my pet dog begins to jump in joy. I love my pet very much. My parents also love the dog. Very often, I play with Jack.

It is said that ‘a friend in need is a friend indeed’. My pet dog fulfill all the characteristics of a good friend. In today’s world, it is really a tough task to find a true friend. Human beings have become fond of material possessions. They have become selfish. But, my pet dog is not selfish. He likes me and is always ready to selflessly act according to my instructions.

I am a pet lover. Since my childhood, I wanted to have my own pet as my constant companion. Last year, on my birthday, my father gifted me 65 days old Labrador puppy as my birthday gift. It was the best birthday gift of my life. When I held it in my hand for the first time, it felt like a cotton ball. As soon as I took it in my hand, it started licking me. I was so much happy. I named it Bruno. From the very first day, Bruno started eating only from my hand. We sleep together on my bed. Really Bruno is my constant companion. Whenever I am sad or my mood is off, somehow Bruno understands it, and  makes every possible effort to make me happy. We go to morning walk together everyday. If I fall sick, Bruno constantly sits beside me. Bruno is a well trained dog. One night Bruno heroically saved our house from being robbed. Bruno is my best friend. Though he can't express his love for me in words, every time he makes me understand it through his actions. I am very happy to have Bruno in my life.
