Hey !!!

_____________________________

We Know The Formula (Identity) : (x+a) (x+b) =  x^{2} + x (a+b) +ab

We can write, 150*98 as,

(50+100) (50+48)

Which is Clearly in Form of (x+a) (x+b)

 Hence, Here,

x = 50

a = 100

b = 48

Acc. To Formula,

  x^{2} + x (a+b) +ab

50^{2} + 50 (100+48) + 100*48

2500 + 7400+ 4800

9900+4800

14700

Verification: 150*98 = 14700

Hence, Proved
