I find this proverb very true in real life. Often times, people with the most negative and loudest responses may not know more than others. They are loud only because there is an emptiness in them echoing these noises, such as

An emptiness in their mind,An emptiness in their heart,An emptiness in their life,An emptiness in their spirit, orAn emptiness in their self-wort

hope this will be helpful

Short story on the proverb 'empty vessels make the most noise.'

There was was a man who always bragged about his strength, bravery, and accomplishments. He would frequently recount how he had defeated a group of bandits on his own and forced them to flee, how he had killed a boar with his punches, and how he had calmed a raging bull. If sonic dacoits attacked the village, his neighbours believed that he would protect them because he was a fearless man.

A group of robbers struck the village one night. He received a request from the people to come and aid them. He was informed about the attack and invited to assist by the messenger. The moment the boaster learned of the thieves' onslaught, he passed out. The boaster passed out when he heard about the robbers, so the messenger went back and advised the locals to confront the robbers on their own. The villagers sat around to discuss the boaster's behaviour after repelling the attack. There was an elderly man there who said, "There is nothing to amaze at." He is a much-sounding empty vessel.
