ESSAY ON SUMMER VACATION :

Summer Vacations are a long-awaited vacation for every student. Students enjoy their vacation with their family and friends. I have spent my last summer vacation at my home with my parents. We didn’t go on any tours and trips this year. I played a lot with my friends and finished my summer vacation homework with my parents’ help. Even I completed my homework while having fun with my friends. I spent most of the time reading books and practicing dance and karate. My uncle’s family gave us a surprise visit, and I felt very happy by meeting with my little cousin.

We went to a movie and a nearby park. My mother organized a kid’s party on my terrace; we all enjoyed it a lot. I love watching the animated series, and my father gave me some DVDs. I watched some series with my friends and enjoyed it a lot. It was one of the most replacing and memorable summer vacations. My uncle and his family went as my cousin had to attend his school.

Summer vacations in most schools of India range anywhere between fifteen days to around a month. Students get enough time of leisure to do a fun activity and engage in things they are passionate about. Parents should encourage their children to be more active and creative during summer breaks so that they don’t turn lazy. Cold foods like ice-cream, cold drinks, chilled fruits, etc. are enjoyed by everyone in the heat of summer.

Children should also maintain a balanced schedule, and the parents should monitor it. Many families plan trips during this time and go to hill stations, forests, or beaches. Some of the popular summer sports are swimming, indoor cricket, indoor tennis, ping-pong or table-tennis, chess, etc. Children can draw, sing, write, and do all those things necessary to express their creativity. Parents also should take the children to spend time with their grandparents, and another relative for there is no better time than vacations to bond with family relatives.
