Azadirachta indica, commonly known as neem, nimtree or Indian lilac, is a tree in the mahogany family Meliaceae. It is one of two species in the genus Azadirachta, and is native to the Indian subcontinent. It is typically grown in tropical and semi-tropical regions.

It is an evergreen, deep-rooted, perennial tree found throughout the dry regions of South Asia. This tree has a woody thick furrowed bark, attractive rounded crowns, evergreen and broad compound leaves, small fragrant, white and bisexual flowers and a small, smooth, yellow-green fruit with a sweet-flavoured pulp.
Turmeric ➡️ Turmeric powder is extracted from the dried ground rhizomes of this plant for culinary uses. Natural products from this plant also have analgesic, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and digestive properties. The plant is originated from Southeast Asia, probably in the Indian subcontinent.
