1500 kg water is stored in the overhead tank of 20m high building , Calculate the amount of potential energy stored in water (g= 9.8 m/s square )​

Given :-

Gravitational Acceleration = 9.8 m/s²

Mass of the tank with water = 1500 KG

Height at which the tank is placed = 20 M

By Formula of Potential Energy which is M x G x H

So , P.E = 1500 x 9.8 x 20

= 294000 Joules

POTENTIAL ENERGY = MGH

= 1500×20×9.8

= 294000 Joules
