15x+17y=21, 17x+15y=11, Find x+y

Equation 1: 15x + 17y = 21

Equation 2: 17x + 15y =11

Add equation 1 and 2

15x+17y+17x+15y=21+11

$32x+32y=32$

Take 32 as common

x+y=1

Hence the value of x+y = 1
