a)

15x2 + 7x-2 - 5x-1 = 15x2 +2x - 3

b)

(15x2 + 7x-2)(5x-1) = 75x^3 - 15x^2 + 35x^2 - 7x -10x + 2 = 75x3 + 20x2 - 17x + 2

c) ( 15x2 + 7x-2) /( 5x-1)

=[ 3x (5x-1) + 2(5x-1) ] / (5x-1)]

= [(3x+2 ) (5x-1) ] / ( 5x-1) = 3x+2
