Answer: 10m/s

Explanation:

vertical component of velocity = 10 x sin(30) = 5 m/s

horizontal component = 10 x cos(30) = 8.66 m/s

the horizontal component of the projectile will remain constant

after 1 second.

u=5     v=?      a=-10     t=1

v = u + at

v = 5 + (-10 x 1)

v = -5 m/s

speed = √5² + 8.66² = 9.99 ≈10 m/s
