Answer:

vi = 0 m/s

a = 5 m/s^2

T1 = 8 s

s = vit + 1/2at^2

s = (0)(12) + 1/2(5)(12)^2

s = 360 m

Answer:

in 1st case :

u = 0m/s

a = 5m/s^2

t = 8s

v = ?

v = u + at

= 0m/s + 5m/s^2 * 8s

= 40m/s

final velocity = 40m/s

in 2nd case :

u = 0m/s

t = 12s

a = 5m/s^2

s = ?

s = ut + 1/2at^2

= 0m/s * 12s + 1/2 * 5m/s^2 * ( 12s )^2

= 1/2 * 5m/s^2 * 144s^2

= 360m

distance = 360m

hope it helps
