A concave mirror is used for image formation for different positions of an
object. What inferences can be drawn about the following when an object
is placed at a distance of 10 cm from the pole of a concave mirror of focal
length 15 cm ?
Position of the image
(a)
(b)

Answer:

A) position of the image-

U: -10

F: -15

V:. ?

By mirror formula : 1/f=1/v+1/u

1/v=1/-15+1/-10

1/v=1/30

So v=30cm

B.). Highly magnified

C.). Virtual and erect

Answer:

Position of image --> 30 cm

Size of the image--> enlarged

Nature of image----> real and inverted

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

u=-10 cm

f=-15 cm

mirror formula --->1/f=1/v+1/u

-1/15=1/v-1/10

-1/15+1/10=1/v

-2/30+3/30=1/v

1/30=1/v

v=30cm

Now For SIZE

m=Hi/H=-v/u

m=-30/-10

m=3

Maybe i think so that magnification is not necessary
