Answer:

The daughter alone can do the work in 12 days.

Step-by-step explanation:

No' of days in which man can finish the work= 4

Part of work done by man in 1 day= 1/4

No. of days in which man and his daughter can finish the work= 3 days

Part of work done by man and his daughter in 1 day =1 /3

Part of work done by his daughter in 1 day = (1/3) - (1/4)

                                                                      = (4 - 3)/12

                                                                     = 1/12

∴The daughter alone can do the work in 12/1=12 days
