Answer:-

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

GIVEN:-

  • Cost price of 4 apples = Rs 5
  • Selling price of 5 apples = Rs 4
  • As he purchased 5 at rs 4 and sold 4 at rs 5, so he had loss.

FIND:-

  • Loss of the person = ?

FORMULA:-

\to\sf{Loss = CP - SP}

SOLVING BY USING THE FORMULA:-

➴ Cost price of 4 apples = Rs 5

➴ Selling price of 5 apples = Rs 4

➴ Loss = Cost price - Selling price

➴ Loss = 5 - 4

➴ Loss = 1

➴ So, he had a loss of 1 rupee.
