As we can see there is 5 resistance

and we have to calculate the total resistance

Assume first point as R1 and then it continues to R5.

As we can see that there is parallel combination lying between

so,

1/R6=1/R2+1/R3+1/R4

1/R6=1/12+1/6+1/4

1/R6=6/12

1/R6=1/2

R6=2ohm

now ,

total resistance between A and B

R7=R1+R6+R5

R7=2+2+5

R7=8ohm
