Solution :-

Let us take a rectangle of ABCB in which AC is a diagonal.

• AB = 12 cm

• BC = 35 cm

• AC = ?

Now we'll use the Pythagoras Theorem :

→ AC² = AB² + BC²

→ AC² = 12² + 35²

→ AC² = 144 + 1225

→ AC = √1369

→ AC = 37 cm.

Hence,

• The diagonal of rectangle is 37 cm.
