If (x+5) is a factor then value of x be -5

put the X's value in above equation:-

 ⟹-  {x}^{3}  + x + 3 k = 0

⟹ -  {( - 5)}^{3}  + ( - 5) + 3k = 0

⟹ - ( - 125) - 5 + 3k = 0

⟹125 - 5 + 3k = 0

⟹120 + 3k = 0

⟹3k =  - 120

⟹k =  -  \frac{120}{3}  =  - 40

{\boxed{\red{k =  - 40}}}
