Explanation:

gautam surrenders = 3/5 × 1/3 =3/15

gautam new share = 3/5 - 3/15 = 6/15

yashica = 2/5 - 1/10 = 3/10

asma's new share = 3/15 + 1/10 = 9/30

gautam : yashica : asma

6/15. : 3/10. : 9/30

make denominators equal

12/30 : 9/30 : 9/30

4 : 3 : 3

sacrificing ratio

gautam = 3/5 - 6/15= 3/15

yasica = 2/5 - 3/10 = 1/10

make denominators of sacrificing ratio equal

I.e 3/15 ×2/2 = 6/30

1/10 × 3/3 = 3/30

now, 6:3

2:1

Given:

Ratio = 3:2

Gautam's share = 1/3

Yashica's share = 1/10

To Find:

New profit-sharing ratio and sacrificing ratio.

Solution:

Old Ratio = 3:2

Gautam's sacrifice = 1/3 x 3/5 = 3/15

Yashica's sacrifice = 1/10

Sacrificing Ratio = 3/15:1/10 = 2:1

New Ratio = Old share - share sacrificed

Gautam's new share  = 3/5 - 3/15 = 6/15

Yashica's new share = 2/5 - 1/10 = 3/10

Asma's new share = 3/15 + 1/10 = 9/30

New ratio = 6/15: 3/10:9/30

= 4:3:3

Sacrificing ratio

Gautam = 3/5 - 6/15= 3/15

Yashica = 2/5 - 3/10 = 1/10

  Ratio =   2:1

Answer: New ratio is 4:3:3 and sacrificing is 2:1.
