listen ... glucose+fructose =sucrose in sugar soo sugar is 100% sucrose and honey is made of 75% sugar in that roughly half is glucose and half is fructose.

priyudd: glucose and fructose are monosaccharides: these are the monomers .and the sucrose is disaccharides: these are formed by joining 2 simple sugar by dehydration : (means to remove h2o from compound ) synthesis forming a covalent bond b/w them

Answer:

Honey is sweeter than cane sugar or corn syrup. Honey is made up of sugar, which is mostly composed of "Glucose and Fructose". Hence, the answer is (4) Sucrose.

Explanation:

Glucose and monosaccharide fructose which together form Sucrose. The relative sweetness of honey is exactly similar to that of sucrose, which gives it a certain distinct flavour that enables honey to be used as a "sweetener". One "tablespoon of honey" contains 46 calories, and is considered safe, but excessive amounts of honey is not good for health.
