16horses=25days
1horse=25/16
40 horses=25/16×40=62.5 days

Let the quantity be 'Q'
16*25/Q = 40*Days/Q
16*25/40 = Days
2*25/5 = Days
Days = 10
Hence it would last for 10 days for 40 horses
