Using Pythagoras Therom:-

P^2 + B^2= H^2

P and B are 12 and 9 cm

So, H^2= (12)^2 + (9)^2

H^2= 144+81

H^2= 225

So, H=15

17. 20 cm is one of the equal sides

Because, In a triangle the sum of two sides is always greater than the third side.

If 9 is the third side, then

9+9 is not greater than 20

So the third side is 20 cm

Perimeter= Sum of all Sides

= 9+20+20

=49 cm
